ABOUT SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Barr Lake State Park offers both self-guided and volunteer/naturalist led programs. Each program has been specifically designed to meet Colorado Educational Board requirements with Leave No Trace components in order to educate and inspire all participants, including parents and teachers to serve as active stewards of Colorado’s natural resources.

Colorado Academic Standards
Barr Lake field trips are designed to supplement the Colorado Academic Science and/or Social Studies content standards for grades K-5.
